El Dorado firefighters Jon Chambers, left, and Morgan Jones earlier this year visited the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial, which pays tribute to the 19 firefighters killed in the 2013 Yarnell Hill wildfire in Arizona; only one of the Hotshots crew members survived the fire, making it the deadliest wildfire in the U.S. since 1991 and the largest loss of firefighter lives since September 11, 2001. Chambers and Jones placed an El Dorado Fire Department patch on the memorial, where it joined hundreds of others stickers and patches representing fire departments across the country paying their respects to the firefighters who were killed.
