PG&E set to face criminal charges in 2020 Zogg Fire

(CN) — Pacific Gas & Electric continues to grapple with legal entanglements as a result of faulty equipment sparking deadly and destructive wildfires in Northern California.
The company acknowledged in documents filed in federal court and with the California Public Utilities Commission that their equipment may be responsible for starting the Dixie Fire, currently burning out of control near the burn scar of the 2018 Camp Fire.
