Petersburg is reporting no active COVID-19 cases for the first time in over two months.
The community’s dashboard also shows no cases reported in the past week and a testing positivity rate of zero. The number of active cases dropped to zero on Friday and it’s the first time to hit that mark since February 1
st. It was later in February that cases spread in the community for an outbreak that lasted into March.
Since the start of the pandemic, Petersburg has reported a total of 168 people infected, with 15 of those cases in non-residents. And the bulk of the infections have happened in 2021.
