Peter Shor wins Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics

MIT Professor Peter Shor has won the 2023 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics with three others for “foundational work in the field of quantum information.” In addition, Daniel A. Spielman PhD ’95 has won the 2023 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Mathematics.
