Chasten Glezman Buttigieg, same-sex husband of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, sent out a tweet on Tuesday confessing that he has gained twenty pounds during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I gained twenty pounds during COVID and felt awful about it,” he said.
“Then a good friend told me ‘maybe just dress the body you have and stop worrying about it,’” he said.
“So I finally went and bought new pants,” he said. “I’m very grateful for having such good friends…and also for these bigger pants.”
