Clear the shelter! Thanks to a pet food company, all dogs available for adoption as of the day of Super Bowl 55 will be fee-waived – they can go home with new families for free.Ziwi Pets – a natural pet food company out of New Zealand is sponsoring the adoption of all dogs that became available for adoption on or before Feb. 7.Shelter officials said that means 88 dogs can find new families without a fee.“All of the qualifying dogs will be designated on our website and with signage at our adoption locations, and all dogs will be going home with ZIWI Pet Packs with every adoption,” the shelter said in a post on Facebook.The adoption sponsorship is to celebrate another amazing year of Kansas City football. Last year Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi sponsored the adoption of all dogs in the shelter after the team won the Super Bowl.
