The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Minjusdh) and the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for South America have signed a letter of intent to strengthen technical cooperation between both institutions.
The letter was digitally signed on Wednesday by Peru's Justice and Human Rights Minister of Eduardo Vega and OHCHR's South America Representative Jan Jarab.
The digital signatures were produced in Lima (Eduardo Vega) and Chile (Jan Jarab).
This agreement seeks to promote the rule of law, the full enforcement of human rights, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, in full compliance with the commitments arising from human rights treaties.
