Fujimori affirmed that she has made her view clear "in the face of the imminent and illegitimate proclamation of Pedro Castillo."
Electoral process
As is known, 25,287,954 Peruvians —in the country and abroad— were called to elect a new President of the Republic between candidates Keiko Fujimori and Pedro Castillo in the runoff election on June 6. Whoever wins the election will become President Francisco Sagasti's successor and take office on July 28, 2021.
