The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has amended Ministerial Resolution 195-2021/Minsa to ensure that every person who provides services in different areas of the health sector has access to the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination, regardless of the nature of their employment and contractual relationship.
Additionally, the above-mentioned regulation annuls the addendum containing information for healthcare professionals on eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine.

This is because scientific evidence —related to COVID-19 vaccines— does not show possible risks associated with special health conditions, such as allergies, reactions to food or drugs, weakened immune system (caused by cancer, HIV/AIDS, leukemia, etc.), or the application of a purified protein derivative (PPD) skin test —used to detect tuberculosis— in pregnant women, among others.
