Personal watercraft rental company moving to Lorain for 2020

A personal watercraft rental business will move to the Port of Lorain in 2021.
Erie Shore Wave Runners, which started in 2019 in Vermilion, will become based at Oasis Marinas Port Lorain, 301 Lakeside Ave., for summer next year.
The company has outgrown its current location and aims to be a new attraction for Lorain’s waterfront, said Chris Haynes of Kent, co-founder and partner with Eddie Widok, a Lorain native who now lives in Vermilion.

On Dec. 7, Haynes announced the company plans and spoke to Lorain City Council during that board’s online meeting.
He explained a number of factors that influenced the decision to move to the International City.
