Person of interest in Gaston Co. shooting arrested after two-county chase, striking deputy with car

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A man was arrested following a two-county pursuit that ended with a Lincoln County deputy behind struck by a car.
A pursuit went from Gaston County into Lincoln County on Sunday after 31-year-old Reginald Duncan Anderson Jr., from Lincolnton refused to stop.
Anderson, driving a 1995 Lincoln Town Car, lost control of his car at the intersection of Reepsville Road and Cat Square Road in western Lincoln County, where he went off the road and into a yard.
