People are so kind to me during my pregnancy. What if we treat everyone like a pregnant woman?

I was standing in an aisle of a local home decorating store with my mom, seriously pondering the qualities of a wall hanging, when a woman pushing a cart passed by the end of our aisle. She glanced down the aisle and kept going, a typical shopping move that would be completely unnoteworthy, except two seconds later she backed up the cart and looked down our aisle again.
