A PENSIONER was pushed into the Mersey by youths in Warrington at the weekend.
The 74-year-old man was sat on the banks of the river near to Riverside Retail Park at around 2.30pm on Sunday, April 25, when he was attacked.
Two or three boys are believed to have pushed him from behind, causing him to fall into the water, before running away laughing.
He was then pulled out of the Mersey by two unknown women, having suffered a cut to his face after banging his head.
