Pennsylvania coronavirus update: All three COVID-19 vaccines allotted for next week; Death rate sees first decline in 3 weeks

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published weekly first-dose COVID-19 vaccine allocations Tuesday night, including doses from Johnson & Johnson for the first time in three weeks. The J&J vaccine is unique in that it is a one-and-done shot preferred for use with hard-to-reach populations or those for whom a vaccination might be a traumatic experience.
The allotments represent the maximum number of doses health departments can order on behalf of vaccination providers under their auspices.
