Pelosi attacker sentenced to 30 years after conviction on assault, attempted kidnapping charges

David DePape, 44, of Richmond, Calif., was sentenced May 17 to 360 months in prison and five years of supervised release, following his conviction on assault and attempted kidnapping charges in connection with his Oct. 28, 2022, intrusion into the home of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul Pelosi.
