1. The Registrar of Societies has rejected both Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) and Malaysian United Democratic Alliance’s (Muda) attempts to register as political parties. Pejuang’s pro-tem chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed the ROS had said its application was in order but needed ministerial approval.
2. New Covid-19 cases in Malaysia exceeded 3,000 cases per day for the first time, and there are signs that Selangor is now on the same trajectory that Sabah was in October and November last year.
