The Pegasus Dance Academy presented dances from Mytilene as part of the annual ‘Pako Festa’ also known as Geelong’s Multicultural festival.
The dance academy run by Sotiris Sotiriou made their 2021 performance debut after having to close down for eight months due to the pandemic.
“The choice of dances from Mytilene was simply due to the readiness of the group after closing for 8 months due to the pandemic,” Mr Sotiriou told
Neos Kosmos.
“Two of our last events in 2020 were the Ouzo Festival and the Festival of the Bull (Tavro) organised by the Palesviaki Enosis of Melbourne and Victoria.”
