Peeps to return to shelves after months-long hiatus during COVID pandemic; two new flavors to be offered

Peeps are coming back to shelves — and they’re coming in hot.
After a nine-month hiatus, the marshmallow treat is coming back and introducing two new flavors, Hot Tamales and Froot Loops.
The Hot Tamales flavor “combines a spicy cinnamon flavor with fluffy marshmallow,” the company said.
“The all-new Peeps Hot Tamales Fierce Cinnamon Flavored Marshmallow Chicks are sure to heat up any Easter celebration this year,” the website states.
The Froot Loops peeps are said to taste just like the cereal.
