Pedestrian killed in Mission Valley hit-and-run incident

A male died after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 93 near Ronan on Jan. 6, 2020.

Additional details have been released in regards to a Wednesday evening incident where a 35-year-old was struck and killed by a vehicle near Ronan.
The Montana Highway Patrol stated in an email to MTN News that a pedestrian was walking near the fog line on the shoulder of the road was struck by the edge of a snowplow.
MHP says that following the incident, the driver of a snowplow -- which was not actively plowing at the time -- pulled over and parked along the southbound side of the road.
