British fashion chain Peacocks has been bought out of administration by a senior executive with backing from a consortium of international investors, it has been announced.
However, it is not yet known which stores will survive, with the retailer reported to have more than 400 UK sites.
There is only one Peacocks store in Berkshire located in Woodley, Wokingham.
Peacocks was owned by the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group, which collapsed in October last year.
