James Gunn doesn't have much (or any) time to rest- not when he's still working on his and HBO Max's spinoff series
Peacemaker with 
John Cena returning to his "Suicide Squad" role. But because the two worlds have such a serious overlap, viewers get to learn a ton more details about the production. For example, earlier this week Gunn addressed what it was like filming with Peacemaker's "damn mirror ball" helmet and what they had to do to avoid being seen in the shots. That said, Gunn also stressed that he didn't have an interest in using CGI- and no one from the studio ever pressed for him to change it.
