PDP South-West caretaker committee suspends chairman

The Peoples Democratic Party South-West Caretaker Committee has announced the suspension of its Chairman, Dayo Ogungbenro, for alleged negligence of duty.
Seven out of the 12 members announced on Monday that Ogungbenro was suspended during their meeting held in Ibadan.
They accused him of failing to call any meeting since he was appointed and vowed never to work with him again.
Those who were said to be at the meeting where Ogungbenro was removed were: Zonal Secretary, Daisi Akintan; Mrs Funmilayo Ogun; Ayobola Fadeyi-Awolowo; Prince Nekan Olateru- Olagbegi; Wahab Owokoniran; Alhaji Mustapha Sikiru and Martins Olu-Abiloye.
