Chris Lewis of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team suffered life-changing injuries after falling 150 metres on February 6.
The experienced team member was on his way to assist a camper on Red Screes above Kirkstone Pass.
Chris has been in hospital ever since and sadly is likely to remain there for some time.
Posting on Twitter, a spokesman for Patterdale MRT said: “Thank you to everyone who’s asked how Chris Lewis is doing.
“There’s not a lot to report beyond initial assessment of life-changing injuries. Chris will be in hospital for foreseeable future and require long-term support. He currently remains in intensive care.
