Lima, Aug 9 (Prensa Latina) The conservative majority of the Peruvian parliament announced today its rejection of a project to advance the electoral process demanded by 80 percent of the population and by a social journalistic poll collected by the opposition to the extreme right-wing parties Fuerza Popular, Renovación Popular and Avanza País, and part of the legislative benches of the center, to a new project to hold elections in 2024, presented by the progressive bench Cambio Democrático–Nuevo Perú .
