Consultations of the leaders of the factions of political parties included in the parliamentary majority and parliamentary opposition were held in the Majilis, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Majilis.
The very concept "parliamentary opposition" is enshrined in current legislation. The parties that have won the least number of votes have the opportunity to enter it. To do this, when registering in the Chamber, a party must declare its membership in the parliamentary opposition.
As a result of the voting and in accordance with the notifications submitted to the Majilis, the parliamentary opposition in the VII convocation included deputies from the Ak Zhol Democratic Party and the People's Party of Kazakhstan.
