Parker's Kitchen gets bigger signs than Aiken allows

Opening day will soon arrive for the Parker's Kitchen being constructed west of downtown Aiken and the convenience store and gas station will have two larger signs than allowed by the city's zoning ordinance. The Aiken City Council voted 6-1 last week to approve the second and final reading of an ordinance granting a request from Parker's Kitchen for larger-than-allowed signs.
