NEARLY £10 million is to be spent on constructing a new park and ride, as well as expanding another, in the Wokingham borough.
The council announced the plans to build a new Park and Ride at Coppid Beech Park and Ride in Wokingham, as well as construction of a second deck of parking spaces to the site at Winnersh Triangle on Friday, January 22.
Work to build on the two sites is set to begin in February - overall, the construction of the new park and ride space on Coppid Beech is expected to cost about £3 million, and the extension on the Winnersh Triangle Park and Ride, Winnersh, is expected to cost a further £6.8 million.
