On Monday, July 19, at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Light Band and Banquet Facility, Mayor Paul Coogan will give the public their chance to weigh in on where the money should be best spent.
“We’ll do a presentation on ARPA, we’ll have the task force there and we’ll listen to the public,” said Coogan.
Coogan has been meeting with the police and fire departments to get their pitches on their needs and how ARPA funding may be used for public safety, as well as the city’s other departments.
“I’m hoping to get good ideas from people for the best use of the money to benefit Fall River,” said Coogan.
