A road reconstruction project on Argyle and McKenzie streets, just south of downtown Stratford, has been delayed for at least another year after contractor bids for the job came in nearly $2 million over budget.
For a smaller reconstruction project that was budgeted at the end of last year at just $2.25 million, and with only two of 23 interested contractors actually submitting bids, Stratford councillors voted Monday to carry the project budget forward to re-tender in 2022.
