The COVID-19 pandemic is a health and humanitarian crisis, says CWM Hospital’s ophthalmologist unit head Luisa Cikamatana.
She made this comment at the Caritas Fiji’s International Women’s Day celebration in Suva on Monday.
She said gaining knowledge was one of the easiest things women could do during the pandemic.
“Women as leaders in this pandemic play the role of caring for themselves, their families, community and the nation as a whole,” she said.
