The two most consistent parts of the New York Rangers came up big during the third period of Sunday night's win over the Anaheim Ducks. Artemi Panarin scored the tiebreaking goal with less than six minutes to go in the third period as the Rangers scored four times in the final 20 minutes for a 5-2 victory. Panarin’s slap shot from the left faceoff circle after a cross-ice pass from Adam Fox was his 28th goal of the season, tied for fourth in the NHL, and gave him points in six of his last eight games (three goals, four assists).
