Panama City Florida police search for armed robbery suspect

PANAMA CITY — Panama City police are searching for a man who robbed a service station at gunpoint Friday evening.
According to a Panama City Police Department press release, the suspect, a Black male possibly in his 50s, between 11:40 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., entered the Express Lane at the intersection of W. 11th Street and brandished a firearm.
The suspect demanded the clerk open the cash register while he held his gun to her side. The clerk complied and the suspect collected an unknown amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
