Cameron Holt is arrested for first-degree theft, boy cited following investigation
A Prineville man was arrested, and an 11-year-old was cited in connection with a firearm stolen from a local business.
On Monday Dec. 7, a Prineville business reported the theft of a 9mm Glock pistol that occurred at about 1:09 p.m. Officer Daniel Pelayo began an investigation into the reported theft.
The crime and departure of suspects was captured on video surveillance. Utilizing that footage and other investigative techniques, Pelayo identified both subjects, the vehicle they left in and where they lived. The adult male was identified as 33-year-old Prineville resident Cameron Holt, and he was accompanied an 11-year-old juvenile.
