Woman killed, man wounded in Sunday shootings

The shootings happened after the Portland Police Bureau put eight additional officers on the streets because of a threat of 'imminent' gun violence.
Shootings and deaths continued in Portland over the weekend despite a push by police and the FBI to reduce gun violence.
The names of the victims were not immediately released and no suspect information was available, either.
Police say a woman was shot and killed in North Portland on Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a reported shooting on North Newman Avenue, between North Winchell Street and North Kilpatrick Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. on May 16. They found a woman deceased at the scene.
