Pampanga launches Home Care Service Program for COVID-19 patients

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, May 3 (PIA) -- The provincial government launched the Home Care Service Program (HCSP) in a bid to bring down COVID-19 mortalities in Pampanga amid high utilization of hospital beds.
Governor Dennis Pineda said this primarily aims to save the lives of Kapampangans while awaiting admission to private hospitals.
"Previously, waiting to be admitted in a private hospital may take five to six days without any medication. Within this period, the condition of the patient may worsen and may result to death. This is what we are trying to prevent," he said.
