Palmer reports 14 new COVID-19 related deaths; total now at 21

PALMER – Town Manager Ryan McNutt’s most recent report to the Palmer Town Council indicates 14 new COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the cumulative total here to 21, since the pandemic began in March.
The town manager’s office provided a copy of McNutt’s Jan. 11 report to The Republican on Wednesday.
It says there are currently “91 actively positive cases in Town. (21) residents of Town have died from Covid-19 at present; (14) in the past two weeks. About (20) of the new positive cases are people between the ages of 18 to 22.”
The state department of public health (DPH), in the Jan. 14 weekly report, shows 505 cumulative cases and 118 cases in the last 14 days.
