Palm Springs car culture alive and well
Bill Marchese
While Palm Springs is famous for mid-century modern homes and movie stars, it is also known for classic and collectable cars. All go together like palm trees and sunny skies in the desert.
Keeping car culture alive in Palm Springs are three car dealers that specialize in classic, collectable cars, located within two miles of each other. They have thrived here for 30 to 40 years each, boasting a combined experience of more than 100 years of selling rare and collectable vehicles. Not many cities can make a claim like that. In their own way, the dealers have made a major contribution to Southern California’s world-renowned car culture.
