A judge on Wednesday ordered the city of Palm Coast to clear up some of its legal claims in its court battle against a former human resources director who is accusing the city of breaking an agreement to pay her severance pay.
Former human resources director Debbie Streichsbier filed the lawsuit in June in Flagler County Circuit Court in which she said the city agreed to pay her $36,000 for four months of severance pay along with four months of health care premiums in exchange for her resignation in a severance agreement on March 20. She claims the city reneged on that promise and fired her four days later.
