As well as being an actor, youâre an advocate for multicultural understanding, womenâs rights and inclusive representation in the arts. Why? Well, my work is inextricably tied to these things, especially as someone who chose to work in India during the early years of my career, a decision partly caused by systemic racism in the Australian industry. It seems there are quite a few kids who feel disenfranchised for one reason or another; if my experience can speak to them, Iâd rather be open about it.
