Pakistan's National Assembly has passed a bill aimed at forming a central authority to restrict money laundering and terror financing, bringing all institutions linked to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) under one command. The proposed National Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Authority Act, 2023, was presented to parliament by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar.
