Pakistan: Lahore High Court Strikes Down Colonial-Era Sedition Law

A host of petitions had alleged that the law has been used 'recklessly' in Pakistan, served as a 'notorious tool for the suppression of dissent,' and also curbed the right to free speech and expression guaranteed by Article 19 of the Pakistani constitution.
