ROTTERDAM, N.Y. â On Tuesday, May 25, the New York State Police in Princetown arrested Michael D. Brooks, 26, of Watervliet and charged him with felony third-degree grand larceny and felony grand larceny.
Brooks was arrested following a months-long investigation into his activities surrounding a seal coating job he offered to complete for a town of Rotterdam resident.
Brooks and his associate, John K. Williams III, 39, of Troy, returned to the victimâs home on multiple occasions demanding payment for seal coating the victimâs driveway. Brooks and Williams obtained in excess of $8,000 from the victim for work the was either incomplete or never started.
