Pacific Grove council votes 4-2 to create expanded sidewalk dining

In the agenda recommendation, city staff said the sidewalk extension would enhance driver and pedestrian visibility, shorten the length of crosswalks to reduce pedestrian exposure and improve drainage and sewage.
