PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless, a multi-service organization providing shelter, food and basic needs support, announced that it has received a $25,000 grant from Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation.
The grant is part of a commitment from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation to provide financial support to local organizations focused on COVID-19 relief.
The grant will directly impact the PAC’S ability to provide emergency shelter to homeless families in Plymouth and 21 South Shore communities, and to also provide much-needed resources for the food insecure of the community.
“We are tremendously grateful to the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation for this extraordinary grant. EBCF’s responsiveness to the ever-increasing numbers of individuals and families impacted by the pandemic is remarkable. The Coalition is honored to be a beneficiary of their generosity, and will ensure that the funds directly benefit COVID-19 relief in our area communities,” stated Suzanne Giovanetti, CEO of the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless.
