COVID-19 percent positivity across the commonwealth decreased yet again this week, though the northeastern counties saw a mix of jumps in drops in their own rates.
According to the most recent release from the COVID-19 Early Warning Monitoring System Dashboard, PCR percent positivity for the entirety of Pennsylvania decreased from 6.5% for the week of Feb. 19 to Feb. 25 to 5.7% for the week of Feb. 26 to March 4.
The latest drop falls in line with an average decline in percent positivity over the course of the past few weeks, and notably, this week’s margin of difference is slightly greater than the previous week’s rate decrease.
