Overnight crash leaves one woman dead

It happened just after midnight on Friday near the intersection of Jefferson and Engle Road.
Police believe a man was speeding down Jefferson Boulevard and possibly ran the light, crashing into another car with a woman inside.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
