Over the Garden Fence: Perennials are on the way

Our garden club members are dividing and potting many perennials in an effort to thin garden abundance. The faithful public will be offered a chance to enrich their own flower beds May 8 when the Earth, Wind and Flowers Garden Club will offer hundreds of plants.
The assembling efforts include bags, boxes and pots of many types of perennial plants. But our hours are short — 9 a.m.-noon.
There will be masks in place. Plants like trees, shrubs and berry canes will be displayed outside. It is likely both ends of the Fine Arts Building will be open.
