Over 740,000 vaccinated in Cuba with anti-Covid-19 candidates
Havana, May 20 (Prensa Latina) Over 740,000 Cuban people have been vaccinated with at least one dose of Soberana 02 or Abdala candidates, as part of the immunization strategy rolled out in the country.
This figure includes those people involved in the pioneering clinical trials with both immunizers, vaccination studies and in current health intervention that takes place in territories and risk groups, as announced by the temporary work team for the prevention and control of the pandemic in Cuba.
According to the latest figure by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), as many as 540,000 people nationwide were vaccinated with the first dose.
