Over 20,000 Scouts to participate at Global Cultural Jamboree

For the first time in World Scouting history, the Sri Lanka Scout Association has made arrangements to conduct a Virual Global Cultural Jamboree from July 16-18, 2021 with the participation of more than 100 National Scout Organisations and over 20,000 Scouts.
The International Briefing of the Global Cultural Jamboree was graced by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on Friday virtually with the participation of more than 5,000 scouts from different parts of the world.
The Global Cultural Jamboree is organised under the theme of “Culturally One Scout World” and with the leadership of Major General Milinda Peiris, Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka and the team led by Deputy Chief Commissioner and Member of the World Scout Committee, Janaprith Fernando.
