ZAGREB, 3 May 2021 – More than 157,000 tourist overnight stays were achieved in Croatia in the first weekend of May, the Croatian National Tourism Board said on Monday.
According to the eVisitor system, which contains tourist traffic generated in commercial and non-commercial facilities and nautical charter (eCrew system), in Croatia during the first weekend in May, in the period from Friday, April 30 to Monday, May 3, 2021 there were 41,400 tourist arrivals and more than 157,000 overnight stays registered.
Out of that, foreign tourists made up almost 23,000 arrivals and 112,000 overnight stays.
During the weekend, most tourist overnight stays were realised in Istria, Kvarner, Split-Dalmatia County and Zadar County, and when it came to destinations, most overnight stays were realised in Rovinj, Zagreb, Poreč, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Mali Lošinj and Split.
